These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of and access to the online Symposium "2nd Intercontinental Symposium on Bioxidative Applications" and any other related content and services provided by BLIHS, Bliss Life Institute for Health Sciences. By purchasing or accessing the Symposium or Community, you, Participant agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or access the Symposium or Community.

 

1. Eligibility

1.1 You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. 

1.2 If you are accessing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

 

2. Nature of the Course and No Legal or Medical Advice

2.1 The Symposium and Community materials are provided for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute: 

  1. legal advice;
  2. medical advice;
  3. professional diagnosis, treatment, or a lawyer‑client or doctor‑patient relationship.

 2.2 You agree that: 

  1. You will not rely on the Symposium or Community as a substitute for independent legal, medical, or other professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
  2. No attorney‑client, doctor‑patient, or other professional relationship is created solely by your purchase, access, or participation.

 2.3 You remain solely responsible for obtaining independent professional advice before taking or refraining from any action based on the Course content.

 

3. Intellectual Property and License

3.1 All content in the Symposium and Community of this site, including but not limited to videos, audio, slides, handouts, workbooks, written materials, logos, trademarks, trade names, graphics, and overall “look and feel” “Content” is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3.2 Upon full payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content solely for your own personal educational use.

3.3 You may not, without our prior written consent: 

  1. copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, or publicly perform any Content;
  2. share your login credentials, allow others to access the Symposium or Community via your account, or otherwise sublicense, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Content;
  3. remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. 

3.4 BLIHS, Bliss Life Institute for Health Sciences, Our business names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks or registered trademarks of ours or our licensors. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

  

4. Access, Availability, and Modifications

 4.1 Access period

  1. Symposium: Upon purchase, you will receive access for a lifetime of the Course depending on the plan, subject to these Terms.
  2. Community: Access to the Community is provided from purchase while your membership remains active.

4.2 We may update, modify, or remove Content at any time in our discretion for example, to correct errors, reflect new research, or improve the learning experience.

4.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Symposium or Community without refund if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful to other participants.

 

5. Membership / Ongoing Symposium Access

5.1 We may offer the Symposium and Community: 

  1. as a stand‑alone purchase,
  2. as part of a membership that includes access to the Third Intercontinental Symposium on Bioxidative Applications and/or other events or content, or
  3. in other bundles or tiers as described at checkout.

5.2 If you enroll in a membership: 

  1. Membership benefits, pricing, and duration will be described at the point of sale.
  2. Unless otherwise stated, memberships renew automatically at the then‑current rate using the payment method on file until canceled in accordance with Section 7.
  3. We reserve the right to modify membership inclusions and pricing for future terms; any changes will be communicated in advance where required by law.

 

6. Community Guidelines

 6.1 The Community is intended to provide a respectful and professional environment for discussion, questions, and support. You agree that you will not: 

  1. harass, threaten, or abuse any participant;
  2. post defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful content;
  3. share confidential or proprietary information of others without authorization;
  4. promote or solicit illegal activities;
  5. market or solicit your own products or services, except where expressly permitted.

6.2 We reserve the right to remove posts or content, and to suspend or terminate your Community access, in our sole discretion for any behavior we deem inappropriate or in violation of these Terms, without refund.

6.3 You are solely responsible for any content you post in the Community. By posting, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the Community and Course.

 

7. Fees, Payments, and Renewals 

7.1 All prices and fees are as displayed at the time of purchase. Taxes may be added as required by law.

 7.2 Payment is due in full at checkout unless we explicitly offer an installment or subscription plan.

7.3 For memberships or installment plans: 

  1. You authorize us and our payment processor to automatically charge your chosen payment method on the schedule disclosed at checkout.
  2. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is accurate and up to date.
  3. If payment fails and is not remedied promptly, we may suspend or cancel your access.

7.4 Currency, billing frequency, and any introductory or promotional pricing will be specified at checkout.

  

8. Refunds and Cancellations

8.1 Refund policy 

  1. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us, provided you have not downloaded significant content or completed more than 10% of the Course.

8.2 Memberships may be canceled at any time by following the instructions in your account or contacting us. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period, and no pro‑rated refunds will be issued unless required by law.

8.3 If we terminate your access due to your breach of these Terms, you will not be entitled to a refund.

 

9. Disclaimers

9.1 The Symposium, Community, and all Content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement.

9.2 We do not guarantee: 

  1. any particular results or outcomes from your participation in the Symposium or Community;
  2. that the Symposium will be free from errors, interruptions, or security breaches.

9.3 You understand that scientific, legal, and medical knowledge evolve, and we make no warranty that the Content reflects the most current developments at all times.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Symposium, Community, or Content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Symposium, or the Community shall not exceed the amount of fees you actually paid to us for the Symposium or membership during the preceding 3 months.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BLIHS, Bliss Life Institute for Health Sciences, and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: 

  1. your access to or use of the Symposium, Community, or Content;
  2. your violation of these Terms; or
  3. your violation of any third‑party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

  

12. Privacy and Data Protection

12.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. 

12.2 By using the Course or Community, you consent to such collection and processing and represent that all data you provide is accurate.

  

13. Third‑Party Tools and Platforms

13.1 The Symposium and Community may be hosted on or integrated with third‑party platforms. Your use of those platforms may be subject to the third party’s own terms and policies, over which we have no control.

13.2 We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or terms of any third‑party service providers.

 

14. Symposium‑Related Content and Events

14.1 Certain Course or membership tiers may include access to live or recorded sessions related to the Intercontinental Symposium on Bioxidative Applications or similar events.

14.2 We reserve the right to change speakers, schedules, formats (live vs. recorded), or delivery methods where reasonably necessary (for example, due to illness, technical issues, or force majeure), without any obligation to provide a refund beyond what is required under your specific refund policy or applicable law.

14.3 Any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred for optional in‑person components are your sole responsibility and are not included in the Course or membership fee unless expressly stated.

 

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Mexico laws, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

15.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Course, or the Community shall be resolved by court jurisdiction and arbitration mechanism and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts or tribunals.

15.3 Where mandatory consumer protection laws require a different governing law or venue, those provisions shall prevail to the extent required.

  

16. Changes to These Terms

 16.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where required by law, notify you of material changes.

16.2 Your continued use of the Course or Community after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17.2 No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

17.3 You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.

17.4 These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any purchase or checkout terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Course and Community.
